The one thing that EVE is really missing are Achievements! Think about it. In WoW, whenever you get an achievement, everyone congratulates you, your guild and anyone around you, who saw it. And it makes you feel good. It makes you feel you achieved something. It gives you something to show off. And it bonds you with everyone who congratulates you. It gives you a talking point, when things fall silent in your guild. On the other hand, there's nothing like that in EVE. Only time someone talks in EVE is when they have a question about a mechanic, they don't fully understand. So in corp, there is a lot of silence and rarely anything that bonds you to your fellow members of your corp.
